On Monday, Daddy had a bid to work on so he set up shop in our friend's office and me and the kids decided to play around town. We slept in, had a nice breakfast, mommy did a little work and then by the time we bundled up it was time for lunch.
Here's Lil Man loving his semi-naked time as usual.
We stopped in a little bakery/sandwich shop, had lunch and picked up Daddy something to go. We took it over to him since he was working so hard and so the girls could say hello.
The divas on our walk.
The girls and Lil Man all bundled up.
After we delivered lunch to Daddy, we stopped back into the bakery and Mommy got a coffee, Adde a hot chocolate and Clare two cookies and everyone shared.
We made our way to the Children's Museum. The girls loved this place and it was perfect for all three of them. Plus it was right by the Village and Peak 9 so we could watch all the skiers.
Bennet was such a good boy and had fun rolling around. Oh...and he has a second tooth coming in right next to and just as fast and furious as the first. He is soon to be a chipmunk but with two bottom teeth.
The girls fishing like Daddy.
They had the cutest little medical station.
...and the girls had the cutest little patient. The girls told me they were playing Dr. Aunt Caroline on Bennet.
He said I'm healthy, leave me alone Doc.
Then they of course played dress up.
When Daddy finished his bid, he met us at the museum and we headed home.
We went out to dinner and the girls played a little shuffle board when they were finished.
Tuesday, Mommy and Daddy had a great morning of skiing while Poppa and Anna watched the kids and then we traded with them for the afternoon. When we got back, we took the girls and Bennet for a ride in the Gondola. It was a little tricky getting the stroller on the moving gondola, but we made it on and off safely. We also checked out the ski school and the girls decided they wanted to wait until next year.
On the Gondola
We played in the snow the rest of the day and took it easy back at the house. Wednesday morning we let Poppa and Anna ski and we went to the Rec Center for a little swimming. The girls were so excited to go swimming when it was snowing outside. They have an indoor/outdoor heated pool at our condo, but it's not very infant friendly so we took them over to the inside pool at the rec center. It was perfect and Bennet's first time to swim! He loved it.
Look at my handsome swimmer. I know he was happy because he got to be semi-naked again.
Mommy and Daddy skied the afternoon and cooked dinner at the house. Man skiing wears me out and all I want to do is be lazy. Guess it could be the altitude too!
Thursday we took the kids back up to Peak 8 via the Gondola so we could tag team ski with everyone. Getting on the Gondola this time was even more tricky as we had two 3 year olds, one 5 month old, a stroller, 2 pairs of skis, boots and poles. Shortly after we got up there and set up shop in the lodge, we decided it was probably better for us to take the kids to the museum and let them play there while we switched off skiing with Poppa and Anna. It was a cluster, but I'll admit they were great!
Here we are about to eat lunch on the mountain.
Snow time.
Then back to the museum so the kids could play.
Mommy and Daddy snuck out to dinner that night and the kids stayed home and had a party with Poppa and Anna. We had a nice dinner and then stopped back at Modi's, the restaurant we celebrated our pregnancy with Lil Man last New Year's Eve. Here is where he got his name...
The last days of our trip is next...
