Final Days in Breck

The girls mastered crawling up and down the bunk beds during the week. They haven't experienced this before...thankfully...as they seem to be a little klutzy at times. Yes, it was usually before bedtime when they were supposed to be putting on their jammies! 

Friday morning William and I set out early to squeeze in our final ski time and the kids played with Poppa and Anna while they packed up their suitcases. We came back just in time to trade off so they could head to Denver to catch their flight. We bundled the kids up and went over to Critterland at Copper Mountain. It was a little play area where there were not any big kids in the way ;). Bennet is obviously stuck in the stroller again while the girls played, but I think he slept the entire time so he didn't mind and was nice and cozy.

It was pretty cold and windy that afternoon, but the girls insisted on going back to Carter Park for more sledding after we left Copper Mountain.  So here they are...and they actually sledded by themselves.

Little Bear pretending to be a sledder. Next year I'll take you down the mountain bud...you deserve it after being such a great sport while your sisters ran the show and left you behind. Gams, this suit was perfect for him and kept him oh so warm the entire trip. Thank you!!

Some cozy time at night while we packed up to head home. 

We arrived safely back home and made time to stop off for a little Mexican food even though we were ALL exhausted. Here is Lil Man sitting in a high chair for the first time. He had a death grip on Sophie so I'm not sure he even noticed. 

Overall the kids were great and the girls loved it. They were not whiny about the cold and loved to get bundled up to go outside. They were not big fans of the skis but talked like they skied the entire time so maybe they'll pick it up next year. Bennet was a super trooper and went everywhere the girls did. I'm already looking forward to next time even though it was a lot of work mixing snow, cold, skiing, kids and fun.
