...we'll be having some fun! This past weekend we made a visit to Kemah because we had a family get together (aka reunion...reunion just has a bad ring to it) in the area. The Bodungen's (my sis) took their camper and camped at the RV park and The Key's (us) stayed at the Palace Inn! We didn't have the time to pack up and take our camper so we mooched on the Bodungen's but slept soundly at the motel! It was the first time the girls spent the night apart from each other. Clare wanted to stay with us at the motel and Adde wanted to spend the night with her cousins.
The girls hit the pool as soon as we arrived Friday evening and we threw ribs on the grill.
Saturday morning we hit the Kemah Boardwalk.
The girls were not brave enough to run through the water spouts with their cousins.
Ok so this was crazy! All along the boardwalk they have the fish feed that you can buy from the candy dispensers and just below everyone you will find this.
Yes, that is SOLID fish. Talk about claustrophobia...it made me cringe.
Totally crazy and the ducks would just swim right through them.

After lunch at the Cadillac Bar, we cleaned up and headed to the reunion. This was with the Kallina side of the family and it was great to see everyone. I think I took one for the Schindler team and offered to host the next one. It will be next year...maybe in September or October!

Bennet was determined to ride this...good thing the color didn't bother him because we have two pinks ones waiting for him in the garage!
After the reunion we headed back to the RV resort for more swimming and a fun evening. Sunday we had lunch with Johnny & Caroline at the Edloe Street Cafe and then booked it home to get ready for our busy week and upcoming wedding weekend. The girls will have Round Two being Flower Girls and they are sooooo excited!
