So So Thankful

We are very thankful for the 3 Thanksgivings we had! It was super busy, super fun and super exhausting. We started out the week being sick…yep that’s correct…sick for the FIRST time in 2 years and 4 months. We’ve had itty bitty colds and runny noses here and there, but have never been to the doc other than for checkups and we’ve never had anything to make Mommy or Daddy worry…or Gams & Pops in this case. Last Sunday morning Adde woke up and her breathing sounded terrible so Gams & Pops called Mommy & Daddy (in Vegas…at 4 am…pretty early) to see what they should do and after a quick call to the pediatrician, the diagnosis was Croup! Yucky ole Croup! Luckily it didn’t get any worse and Adde was back to just having a nasty cold by mid week. Clare never got the Croup, but had a cold as well. We jumped back into shape, slept with a humidifier, ate a lot of Karo Syrup on pancakes and prepared for all the family and thanksgivings we were having.

Here we are on Thursday for Thanksgiving at our house with Gams, Pops, Aunt Kak, Josh, and Josh’s parents. We had a yeah ole time with all of them!

Friday, we had Granny’s family over for another Thanksgiving. We overheard Mommy saying…busy, but thankful and we love all our family. Here is Mommy with the fam!

Daddy is a longhorn, but converted to an aggie for a day so he didn’t have to listen to mommy’s family give him a hard time about the A&M and UT game ! Ouch! Nice shirt Daddy! Here’s is Uncle Dale…he gives the most crap!

 

 

 

Friday evening we heading to the deer lease for the weekend and had Thanksgiving #3 with Poppa’s family. Daddy was sighting in his gun so we were taking cover with Em & Kate!
