Fair with Friends

We had a day of fun at the fair with our friends a couple weeks ago. Here's the crew...and we had one more join us later.

The girls made me ride the first ride with them but after that they rode all by themselves! I've been waiting for this day.

They even climb the stairs for this slide and came flying down all by themselves! Wow such big girls!

The fair was all fine and dandy until Clare's world came crashing in! She wanted to ride one of the rides with a certain friend and the friend was already on the ride with someone. So she stood there and I had to grab her off the ride so they could start it. Then I took her aside and told her if she continued to act this way that we would go home. Oh did I say the words...go home? Yep and she threw a fit. Had nothing to do with that she couldn't ride with her friends but that we were going home. So she continued her fit and I was ready to go home anyway...so there we went. Stuck to my guns and it wasn't happily or willingly, but off we went. One day they will learn. Or will they?

Our first swim of the year and although the water was freeeeezzzzing the girls did well and picked up where they left off.

I haven't had any pictures of Miss Lissi lately. She is doing great for her ripe old age of 16 and her birthday is actually on Friday, May 18th. So Happy Birthday to my first child! She still holds strong to her three siblings and she has been by my side through it all. I love you Liss!
