Naughty & Nice

This was the theme of our Christmas Cards and we carried it through for Halloween by being an Angel and a Devil! I'm not mentioning any names, but the roles are obviously reversed as you can see in the first picture. Sweet Devil is being Nice and the Little Angel is being Naughty.

The girls had their Halloween party at school yesterday and it started with a parade around the school to show their costumes. After the parade, they got to help the Witch make her brew and then ended with a Halloween Party. It was a fun morning.

For some reason Adde gets emotional when she sees me at school. She loves to go and is fine when I leave her, but something about seeing me there makes her emotional and she cries with this heart wrenching face. In the below group pic, she had lost it even though she could see me. She doesn't run to me or want me to hold her, just gets upset. When it was time for me to leave after helping with the party, she gave me a big high five and said "see ya later mom!" Who knows?

The witch doing her little show. She was Fabulous...and is every year. I remember her when my nieces were in school.

She made a witches brew and stole little ears, noses and feet from the kids and put them in her concoction. Then she let the kids come put something in it and had them guess whether the water was hot or cold. It was smoking from the dry ice so most kids of course thought it was HOT!

We're off to the Halloween Carnival tomorrow, Dewberry Farms (since it was rained out last time) on Sunday and Trick or Treating on Monday. Hope Bennet can keep up and pics of his costume to come...don't get too excited!
