This weekend was opening dove hunting season and it is a REALLY big deal here in our town. People hunt morning and afternoon starting early on Friday. Lots of old friends come into town for the big event and there are many parties to go around. Saturday morning we woke up bright and early to send Daddy off to hunt and then to headed out to play with our friends at The Annual Dove Day Brunch. After the brunch, we hit the cribs for a nap and then got ready to have more friends over at our house for a Dove Day Dinner…and to cheer on the Longhorns.
In order to be fit for the occasion, we started off in our camo overalls for the dove day brunch.
It started raining outside so we had to move the party inside.
Then we moved on to bigger and better toys…adult shoes.
Two pairs…of girls that is.
On to the next party! Go Horns!
