Today we had our 9 month doctor’s visit and received a great report and only cried a tiny bit. Mommy entertains us pretty well in the doctor’s office and somehow makes us forget that we are there for….SHOTS! Luckily today we only got two shots and a finger prick. We got a late/early flu shot and our last Hepatitis B with a finger prick to draw blood for an anemia test. We both were negative on the anemia! We are growing very well and our stats are:
Height: Clare & Adde 29'” – 90 percentile
Weight: Clare 18 pounds – 50 percentile Adde 16 pounds 4 oz – 10 percentile
Head Circumference: Clare & Adde 17 1/4” – 25 percentile
As you can see from our percentiles, we are right on tract for 9 month old babies….even though we should only be 6.5 months…which is just a miracle seeing that we were born 2.5 months early and only weighed 2.5 pounds. We are both very long and not to mention any names…one of us is petite and one almost overweight. Well maybe not overweight, but definitely likes to eat like a little piggy.
Thank you all for your prayers and support to help us grow to be healthy and strong! After our appointment, we played with Aunt Cammy and Cuz Courtlan, picked up our Sissy Lissi from the vet after getting her broken toenail fixed and then headed home so we could walk and swing with Mommy.

Swinging is a special activity, you can see the clouds and make up stories about deer, bears, inidans, cowboys and hundreds of other things, and shots just never come up. I should know, when I was a kid, which is only a few years ago, I would spend hours in the swing just wondering. Looking forward to seeing you. xoxo
ReplyDeleteWow, I thought we had a couple of long girls, but you have us beat! When we got the girls' 9 months numbers is was a big shock for me to compare them to their birth numbers. It must be even more of a shock for you! They have come a long way!
