Our weekend started off great with visits on Friday from Lanise and Sara Macha and her twin girls…and a surprise visit from Pops, William's dad. The girls enjoyed spending time with Lanise and thankful that she helped feed and entertain while Mommy was busy with the other. Sara and her girls, Avery and Grace, came over for a play date too while they were in town for Spring Break. It was great to see her girls and I asked lots of questions and watched Sara in action so I know what to look forward to. The awesome pictures in the slideshow above were taken by Sara just casually as the girls were playing. Isn't she great! Clare wasn't very happy at the moment, but she got the blue eyes open. Friday night, we went into Houston to meet William’s parents, Granny, Auntie Di and G’auntie K for dinner at the Live Oak Grill. We better watch out for G’auntie K as Clare enjoys her first Shiner….
It was great to see everyone and after dinner Pops and Gams (William’s parents) came back to EC and spent the weekend with the girls. Saturday, we hung the girl’s swings outside so they can enjoy the sunshine…and lovely wind. As you’ll notice, the girls loved their swings with both feet up and the old tasty straps were to die for.
The girls love to laugh with Gams and you can see it first hand with Adde on the left and Clare on the right…
Sunday afternoon we watched Daddy play “old-man” football with some friends and then fell fast asleep from all the activities...
