4th of July and an update from Mommy...

The girls had another great weekend at the bay... It is our second home for the summer and very easy for us to frequent because we have all of their stuff there and all we have to do is pack our clothes, put the girls in their car seats and we're on our way. Below are some pictures of our fun 4th of July weekend. They slept through the fireworks so we'll have to catch them next year.

The girls are one month away from being one year old. They are working on telling us how old they are. As of today, they are both about 20 lbs and in 12-18 month clothes. They are very long babies and we're not sure who they get it from. Both are crawling, although Clare is up on her hands and knees a little more than Adde. Adde still prefers to do the army crawl because she can get there faster. They both are pulling up on everything and standing. Adde does patty-cake or as she likes to call it "Adde-cake" and Clare is just learing how to clap her hands together. They both say "ba ba" and "ma ma" although the majority of time "ma ma" is said is when they want something or being fussy. They both hold their own bottles on the floor and occasionaly bottle swap. We are eating solids 3 times a day and still having about 4 bottles. The sippy cup is used on occasion when they are really thirsty. Both go to bed around 8pm and now that I have curtains in their room, they sleep until 7:30 or 8am. We are still working on naps as they pretty much max out at 1 hour. They take one around 10am and then another around 2 or 3pm. They must have internal alarms. We have a very flexable schedule becuase it seems everyday is different. We are very blessed to have such healthy and active little girls.
